​Joel Furnanz is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner dedicated to providing compassionate, patient-centered care. He began his nursing career in 2011 after earning his RN and gained a strong clinical foundation working in medical-surgical, oncology, telemetry, critical care, and intensive care units. While working in the ICU, he pursued advanced training and became a certified Family Nurse Practitioner in 2019. He began his NP career in a diverse community health clinic, where he inherited a large panel of patients—the majority with complex, chronic conditions. This experience deepened his passion for continuity of care and allowed him to form meaningful connections with patients during some of their most difficult life challenges. During this time, he also earned his MAT (Medication-Assisted Treatment) certification for treating substance use disorders. He later went on to work in cardiology and electrophysiology before expanding into urgent care across clinics in Massachusetts and New Hampshire. Throughout his career, Joel Furnanz has gained insight into many angles of the healthcare system. His experience in primary care, cardiology, and urgent care revealed a desire to go beyond conventional treatment and help patients explore how they can support their own healing through a more holistic lens. Today, he integrates evidence-based medicine with functional and personalized care—offering individualized treatment plans through a collaborative and supportive approach. In partnership with a trusted compounding pharmacy, he provides customized therapies that align with each patient’s goals. His mission is to fill the gaps in traditional medicine by creating space for open conversations, honoring each patient's unique story, and guiding them toward sustainable wellness.
